LOST RABBIT’S TOWN CENTER UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Construction
of Lost Rabbit’s town center should be complete in the next 18 months, with the
first buildings already being built.
Lost Rabbit is a 260-acre master-planned community located approximately
12 miles northeast of Jackson, Mississippi,
in Madison County, MS. Situated
on some of the most beautiful land in central Mississippi, Lost Rabbit, Madison
MS overlooks the 33,000 acre Ross Barnett Reservoir with
almost a mile of shoreline, and is sheltered by the Natchez Trace Parkway at
the end of Hoy Road, just east of the city limits of Madison, MS.
The town
center will be the heart and soul of Lost Rabbit, Madison MS. With three
buildings currently under construction, the development of a village of water
is becoming a reality. Each building,
at a cost of $20 million, will offer 72,000 square feet of commercial and
residential space on Lost Rabbit’s
marina at the Ross Barnett Reservoir.
The initial project in what will eventually be a five- block town center
involves four architects
and three developers
and builder.
The
100 Port Street Madison, MS building
includes retail space on the first floor, office space on the second floor and
luxury condos on the third floor. Pinnacle Trust is one of the many tenants
expected to move into the building. At the Republic Street building, nine
three-story units may be customized to accommodate residential and commercial
space. The building will feature balconies,
terraces and a courtyard. On the send
and third floors will be four three-bedroom condos. The first floor will be reserved for commercial space. The loft style structure will include garage
parking and elevator access. The marina
will include 124 boat slips, and additional town center buildings are being
designed for 2009. Construction of the
mixed -use Lost
Rabbit, Madison MS began in 2004
between the Natchez Trace Parkway and the Ross Barnett Reservoir. Lost Rabbit neighborhood of Madison,
MS offers its residents the following amenities:
- Marina (120+ slip facility
scheduled to open in the Spring of 2008)
- Tennis
- Health Facilities
- Walking trails (some of the
trails are complete and many others will be continually added as the
development grows)
- Playgrounds (our first
playground is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2008)

- A Town Center, located adjacent to the marina (first
